THE BIG MOVE!!
BUY IT NOW SO WE DON’T HAVE TO MOVE IT!!!

Yes, you read it right, we are moving again! This time it feels really good too, our new location is 460 Cerrillos Rd, directly across the street from where we are currently. Now we really are right at the Cerrillos Sandoval split, heck we are the split now. Great parking, easy access, more space, and some great deals with the always friendly expert advice you know us for. To help lighten the load and make room for new 2010 items we are marking all the discontinued items down even more. We have stuff from 20% to over 60% off. This includes boots, waders, saltwater rods, fly boxes, flies and more. Bare with us through the next couple weeks as a move tends to take it’s toll on anyone. We will be in the new location on Monday November 23rd. Rest assured though, 2010 is going to be a great year for fly fishing and High Desert Angler is stepping it up a notch in several ways. Stay tuned, come get some gear, and check out the new digs, it’s just going to get better and better!!!

Starting on September 1st we have decided to make a slight adjustment on the way we deal with returning a rod to the manufacturer for warranty repair. The consumer can go to our website and link directly to the manufacturer where you can download a repair form and ship the item on your own. You can pay by credit card, check or money order included with your repair. If you would like us to take care of this service, we will complete the repair form, pack, ship, insure, and track your package all the way back to the shop and call you when it arrives for a total cost of $75 plus tax. The shipping costs for us have gone up so much that with out this in-shop increase we simply can’t afford this service for our customers. The benefit to you having us ship your item is that we have the shipping tubes, packing material, a UPS pick up and daily drop off, and a commercial addresses where the package has to be signed for. We want to be able to assist you in every way, and we hope this isn’t really anything but extending our service to you in a way that covers our costs in the shipping and handling category, thank you for your understanding.

Sales! Sales! Sales! This is the time of year where we get to mark down a few items that are slated to be discontinued. Some of these deals might be better than waiting to see the latest and greatest for next year. We have vests, shirts, wading boots, and even some waders that are marked down from 25%-50% off. If you’re looking for an inexpensive reel, there are a few left and priced to move, especially if you are looking for a nice salt water reel. If a salt water rod is in your future, Sage has just announced the Xi2’s are on the chopping block. They are all down almost $200 and I really only have a few left. These are great rods with lifetime warranties.
